It must be said there is no one fantastic way to shed to those pounds, but by making numerous lifestyle changes you should start to see the weight just literally fall of. In this article I would like to introduce you to several ways to lose weight quickly:-

1) Eat fewer carbohydrates – Try cutting out bread and pasta for a week or so and you will soon watch the weight fly off. You still need healthy carbs for energy, so just increase your intake of oats, grains and vegetables.

2) Always have a specific goal in mind. If you need to find ways to lose weight quickly for a special event, such as a wedding, party or family gathering or that holiday of a lifetime, just mark it on your calender. This can help your motivation no end if you start to struggle!

3) Give up drinking soda and other carbonated drinks. They simply fill you up with dead calories and will soon put the pounds on. Drink as much water as you can and aim for 2-3 litres a day. This will help to keep you well hydrated and flush all those nasty little toxins out of your body!

4) When exercising, you should concentrate on full body weight and resistance exercises too. Many people wrongly believe by exercising with weights they will bulk up even more. Muscle is essential for fat loss. By doing a few weights sessions a week, you will help to raise your metabolism which will aid the burning of fat. Try and stick to exercises like dead-lifts, lunges and squats.

5) Eat more frequently. By eating smaller meals every 2 to 3 hours, you are more likely to feel satisfied and much less likely to snack. This will also help to keep your metabolism high and we have already established that this is the best way to burn of excess body fat.

6) When eating try using smaller plates. This can often trick the mind into believing it has eaten more than enough. This will also help to control your portions. In reality each portion of food, whether it’s rice, meat, vegetables or fruit should be about the same size as your fist!

7) Make sure that your healthy new lifestyle becomes habit. Experts say that we have to do something at least 21 times first before it becomes a habit. So when looking for the best ways to lose weight quickly, take the advice above, find something that works for you and then turn it into a habit!
