I just signed up for the inaugural Damon Runyon 5K Run/Walk for Cancer Research at Yankee Stadium, taking place November 15, 2009.

sneaker-stadiumThis unique event will actually take place inside Yankee Stadium. Runners will get to explore the Stadium and finish with a lap around the warning track that circles the field.

100% of the money I raise will be used by the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation to fund innovative research by today’s most brilliant young scientists, who are racing to find the causes and cures for all types of cancer.
